Dr. Doug Cast earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University.  He graduated from the prestigious Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1986 and opened his first dental practice in Murrieta.

Dr. Cast is perhaps the valley’s most unique dentist, having first served in law enforcement in Orange County.  Dr. Cast’s diverse background includes experience as a Clinical Instructor in cosmetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction and he has taught the art and science of cosmetic dentistry to dentists from the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Additionally Dr. Cast has attended extensive post graduate continuing education and has received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.  Dr. Cast’s postgraduate training includes training in Adult Conscious Sedation, for which he holds a special permit with the State of California.  He is a certified Invisalign dentist, allowing people to get a straighter smile, without the embarrassment of metal braces.

Dr. Cast and his wife – an elementary school teacher – have deep roots in Temecula and have given back to our community for many years.  Dr. Cast has served on numerous fundraising programs for local schools, sponsored youth sports and he has been a manager for boys youth baseball and coach for girls youth basketball in Temecula.  He is an advocate for quality public education and each December, Dr. Cast and his patients donate hundreds of toys to HUGS Family Foster Care – keeping 100% of the toys in our community for our needy children.

Believing that you are never too old to live life with gusto, Dr. Cast has participated in the San Diego Padres Fantasy baseball camp and continues to play baseball for the Padres fantasy league.
